In creating this web site, the books listed in the separate page were referred to (The English translation of the titles of the respective books were made, with limited exceptions, tentatively by the editor of this site ). The editor expresses his deep appreciation for the authors of these books for providing with new points of view and the advanced knowledge in the respective fields. Visitors to this web site are requested to note that this editor/writer is not an expert in any of these fields. However, he will try to the best of his ability to accurately summarize what the experts of respective fields teach us. About photography / 写真について
The editor makes it a rule to choose objects which can be commonly observed and to photograph them from where anybody can easily access. / 写真は、誰もが普通に目にすることができる風景等を、容易にアクセスできる場所から撮影するよう、心がけています。
The principal field of photography is Tokyo Metropolis. Occasionally, however, the editor moves out of Tokyo to take pictures of high mountains in midland Honshu such as the Japanese Alps or Mt. Fuji. As to the means of transportation, public transportation such as railway, subway and bus are used in town. When visiting distant places, the editor uses his car, as well as tramway, gondola, chair lift, mountain railway and so on if such means are available at the destination. / 主たる撮影フィールドは、東京都です。ただし、日本アルプス、富士山など、本州中央部の高山の写真を撮影するため、都外に出る場合があります。撮影地へのアクセスは、都内では、鉄道、地下鉄、バス等の公共交通機関によっていますが、遠隔地への移動には、自動車を使用します。なお、行先地にロープウェイ、ゴンドラ、リフト、登山鉄道等の移動手段がある場合は、それらを利用します。
